  To Carole
  As a parent with 2 non-verbal kids who use SGDs, I love reading shared techniques especially the ones for older teens and adults. Not every SGD user started as children and I appreciate the incorporation of books and activities that are age appropriate for my 15 and 19 year olds. I write to you now to simply say “THANK YOU.”

    Thank you, Isabel! I think we SLPs have a huge opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people who didn’t get a fair chance to explore AAC in early childhood. There is always potential for learning and growth. Now, if we could just get some decent funding to support services to folks in their post-school years…
