Sounding Board, which is a good switch accessible app, is free at the moment and at least until the end of June 2012. Other new free AAC Apps are Communicate Mate, Communicate Mate Female, Free Speech, Gabby Tabs Lite and Speech Button (different to Speech Buttons Lite). Cheers 🙂

Thanks for those GREAT tips, Jane!! We will help spread the word. Between all the freebies for Autism Awareness month and Better Hearing and Speech Month, I might have to go for the new iPad. 🙂

Oops – and also Connect Cards, See and Say lite, Talking Cards Lite and Functional Communication System Lite.

    Hello,

I just came across this article. A group of friends and I have developed a new Free AAC app (YouTalk AAC) for Android and we would love it to be added to this list — Is there a way we can make this happen? We belive this app is one of the most beautiful, elegant and easy to use AAC apps out there and. Thank you – Swami
