  • For creative music-making we recommend the ThumbJam and the AUMI apps for people with profound and complex needs. The best example of the use of these apps is seen in the Improvise Approach model. Their website is http://www.improviseapproach.com and there is information and videos on the use of these apps plus a free ebook called The Improvise Approach which shows you how to set up your iPad with ThumbJam for use with individual and group players. It also shows you how to set up Guided Access on your iPad so you can cordon off areas of the screen in any app. Altogether, a fine publication!
