PráctiCAAmente Conectados: CAA Con Links – Julio 2022
A- A+

It’s a great day for sharing AAC resources in Spanish! On the first Friday of every month, we feature a Spanish version of our AAC Link Up, CAA con Links. If you have AAC-related announcements, materials, or videos in Spanish that you would like others to know about, we’d love to have you add that information below. Also, please share this with anyone who might be interested in contributing to or using the materials that get added to these posts.

Organized by Claudia Marimon, these posts also feature AAC work being done in Spanish-speaking countries. You can find entries from previous months here. Today, she features resources from The AAC Coach and Assistiveware that may be of interest to the Spanish-speaking community.

Infographic from Assistiveware

Infographic on multimodal communcation from Assistiveware in Spanish

We start this month by sharing fundamental AAC concepts that are necessary to carry out good evidence-based practices. Fortunately, we can find some resources that make it easy for us to have this information in Spanish, from experts and specialists on the subject.

We are very aware that many people in the Spanish-speaking community have started in the field of AAC out of the need to provide access to communication to their children or their students or patients and have been learning as they implement the supports or strategies to those who have access.Infographic from Assistiveware in Spanish

Today we want to share some web pages, and posts that have been developed in Spanish or translated into Spanish with very important, useful, and evidence-based information.

We invite everyone to be trained in AAC, but it helps us to have these clear concepts to move forward on our own.
