Hello Carole,
I’ve only found your website about one month ago. I have been admiring all the wonderfully shared AAC information and marveling at the abundance of things to try with my two non-verbal kids. When I saw that Robin had passed, I immediately wished I had met her and you. I’m certain you miss your dear friend. Though she won’t know what an impact she has made for me as a mom attempting to teach my kids AAC, I wanted to ensure you knew that your website has been a true blessing. You’ve both make AAC look like fun instead of focusing the sadness that sometimes comes with having kids that can’t talk. I’m grateful to you both.
I was shocked and speechless when I heard of Robins passing. May all those who had the honor to know her work with her learn from her keep her in their hearts and keep her work moving forward. Rest in peace. Watch over us and guide us
