We’re delighted to share this presentation by AAC SLP Tabi Jones Wohleber which was part of the 2021 Angelman Syndrome Foundation Family Conference. In this video, Tabi discusses the role of AAC and multimodal communication and shares strategies for supporting communicative development at home. Individuals with Angelman Syndrome often derive great benefit from the use of AAC. In today’s featured video, Rosie Clarke and Livvy Hepburn help us understand some of the key concepts in getting started in using AAC supports and systems. We have learned so much by working with children with Angelman Syndrome (AS) over the years. Because they generally have complex communication needs, we wanted to share some resources in support of AS Awareness Day.
