If there’s a better topic for a video to usher in AAC Awareness Month 2019, I couldn’t find it. Enjoy heartfelt session by AAC SLP/AT Specialist and PrAACtical AAC friend, Lauren Enders. You can access the handout for this presentation here. Many thanks to Lauren and to CoughDrop for making this available as part of the AAC in the Cloud Conference archives.

Today we return to the AAC in the Cloud archives for another enlightening presentation, this time on multimodal communication. In this session, Stephanie Fuller and Saoirse Tilton discuss the varied ways that people communicate and remind us of the importance of considering the full palette of communicative options when interacting with children and adults who have complex communication needs. Many thanks to CoughDrop for hosting this conference and to Stephanie and Saoirse for their insightful session. Enjoy! Cloudy with a (big) chance of AAC? The weather was fine at AAC in the Cloud conference, an online event hosted by the wonderful team at CoughDrop. Over two days, there were three tracks of AAC presentations and a fun keynote by Kate Ahern. Many thanks to Brian Whitmer and his colleagues for inviting me to participate. You can download the handout for the session here.
